Barrett Browning Has Been Around For 50 Years And Is Still Tremendously Popular. This Daffodil Is Named After The Famous Poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The Petals Are Crisp Pure White With Frilled Orange-Red Cups. Very Free Flowering And One Of The Best For Naturalizing (Will Come Back Year After Year And Gradually Multiply) It Has A Striking Colour Combination. The Plants Also Exhibits Nice Green Foliage. The Blossoms Which Are Up To 45cm High Can Last For Up To A Month.
Like All Daffodils “Barrett Browning” Is A Superb Cutflower, In The Landscape, It Pairs Well With Tulips, Violas, Early Blooming Perennials And Shrubs. They Are Also Wonderful For Planting In Showy Masses. They Are Excellent In Beds, Borders Tubs And Containers. They Are Deer, Rodent And Squirrel Proof.
These Are Some Of The Easiest Bulbs To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average Fertile Soil. After Blooming, It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Spring’s Display.
