GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Please Make Sure When Buying These Bulbs That You Don’t Buy Too Small A Bulb Or They Won’t Flower, They Will Only Throw Green Leaves And Take 2-3 Years To Flower. Under A Size 10 Will Only Throw 40% Flowerage At Best. These Bulbs Are A Good Flowering Size.

Large-Cupped Daffodils/Narcissi Have Flowers With The Large Central Trumpet Replaced By A Large, Open, Flattened Or Wavy Cup.

“Ice Follies” Is A Popular Variety With A Soft Yellow Flattened Cup Set Against A Clear White Perianth Of Outer Petals. The Yellow Flattened Cup Eventually Fades To White.

“Ice Folly” Has Received The Royal Horticultural Society’s Award Of Garden Merit (Agm) Which Is For Plants Of Outstanding Excellence.

Like All Daffodils “Ice Follies Is A Superb Cutflower. In The Landscape, It Pairs Well With Species Tulips, Scillas, Grape Hyacinths And Early-Blooming Perennials And Shrubs. This Relatively Inexpensive Cultivar Is Wonderful For Planting In Masses. It Is Also Good For Winter Forcing And Looks Good In Containers And Pots. They Are Deer, Rodent And Squirrel Resistant.

These Are Some Of The Easiest Bulbs To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average Fertile Soil. After Blooming, It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Spring’s Display. Once Their Leaves Start To Turn Yellow, They Can Be Cut To The Ground. Divide Them In Summer If Bloom Or Vigour Dwindles.

Plant 15 CM (6”) Deep And 5-10 CM (2”-4”) Apart 15 CM-22 CM (6-9”) Per Sq Ft

Weights & Quantities Of Daffodils & Narcissus
