GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Please Make Sure When Buying These Bulbs That You Don’t Buy Too Small A Bulb Or They Won’t Flower, They Will Only Throw Green Leaves And Take 2-3 Years To Flower. Under A Size 10 Will Only Throw 30% Flowerage At Best. These Bulbs Are A Good Flowering Size

“Pink Pride” Is A Symphony Of Colour, The Funnel-Shaped Corona Of This Large-Cupped Hybrid Changes From Salmon Pink With A Lemon-Yellow Base To A Soft Peachy Pink With A Pale Sulphur Base. It Is Displayed Against A Whirl Of Slightly Reflexed White Petals.

The Colourfully Chameleonic And Ruffled Cup Is Set Against Six Large Moderately Reflexed White Petals (The Perianth) Which Show Off The Startling Colours Of The Cup Particularly Well. One Interesting Little Difference About “Pink Pride” Is How It Lifts Its Flower-Face A Little Upward, Or Faces Outward Level, The Opposite Of So Many Narcissi That Bow Their Heads Low.

Like All Daffodils “Pink Pride” Is A Superb And Long-Lasting Cut Flower Needless To Say They Look Very Impressive. They Are Excellent For Bed And Borders And Also For Cut Flower Arrangements. They Look Good In Containers And Pots. It Is Also Excellent In Masses. In The Landscape, It Pairs Well With Tulips, Bluebells, Alliums And Spring Flowering Perennials And Shrubs.

These Are Some Of The Easiest Bulbs To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average Fertile Soil. After Blooming, It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Spring’s Display. Once Their Leaves Start To Turn Yellow, They Can Be Cut To The Ground. Divide Them In Summer If Bloom Or Vigour Dwindles.

Plant 15 Cm (6”) Deep And 5-10 Cm (2”-4”) Apart 15 Cm-22 Cm (6-9”) Per Sq Ft
