It Is Grown For Its Loose Bright Yellow Clusters In Late Spring To Early Summer; Each Plant Has Up To 30 Delicate Golden-Yellow Star-Shaped Flowers With Light Green Highlights On Each Stem. The Green Strap-Like Foliage Appears Before Plants Bloom And Often Dies Back Before The Flowers Appear. This Onion Has A Lightly Oniony Fragrance When Its Leaves Or Stems Are Crushed.
“Allium Moly” Is Ideal For Containers, Mass Plantings, Borders And Cut Flowers. They Have A Bloom Period Of Three Weeks And Are Very Fragrant. It Looks Especially Pretty With Star Of Bethlehem. These Plants Are Rabbit, Squirrel And Deer Resistant.
