GENERAL DESCRIPTION

“Coreopsis Verticillata” Is Widely Planted For A Reason; It’s Easy To Grow, Colourful And Draws Many Pollinators To The Garden.

Threadleaf Tickseed Is A Clump-Forming Plant That Slowly Spreads By Rhizomes. It Is Native To Eastern North America And Can Commonly Be Found In Dry, Thin Woods And Open Pinelands, Prefering Sites With Full Sun Exposure. It Can Tolerate Drought, Poor Soil, Heat And Neglect. They Have Very Fine, Threadlike Foliage Of Medium Green. Throughout Summer, It Puts Forth Many Pink Daisies That Draw Butterflies. It Is Also Deer Resistant. The Whole Plant Has A Delicacy Of Effect, Despite The Bright Colours And It Is A Particularly Interesting Addition To The Garden Giving It A Long Season Of Colour.

This Sun-Loving, Heat-Tolerant, Hardy Perennial Prefer Well-Drained, Average Soil. Threadleaf Tickseed Will Continue Blooming Into Autumn If Occasionally Cut Back To Remove Spent Flowers. In The Landscape It Looks Super When Planted In Masses Or Mixed With Ornamental Grases And Other Showy, Sun-Loving Ornamentals. They Are Idel For Flower Beds Formal Or Informal. They Can Also Be Grown In Hanging Baskets And Containers Where They Will Require Watering.
