Curcuma alismatifolia is also known as the ‘Siam Tulip’ or ‘Summer Tulip’. Curcuma is known to be a tropical plant and also excellent for indoor forcing. The Curcuma plant is native to countries like Cambodia, Laos and Northern Thailand. It belongs to the wide Ginger family and is gaining more popularity among the gardening but also the spice community in the West.
