Admired For Its Delightful Summer Display Of Fragrant White Flowers This Winter Dormant Perennial Is Remarkable For Its Cold-Hardiness.

The Fleshy Underground Bulbs, Give Rise To Thick, Light-To Medium-Green Strap-To Lance-Shaped Leaves That Are Erect Or Arching, In Mid To Late Summer, Tall, Steeple-Shaped Clusters Of Nodding, White, Green-Tinged Bell-Flowers Are Borne Atop Waist-High, Leafless Stalks. The Flowers Expand From Green Buds. There Are Often Up To 30 Fragrant Flowers Per Stem.

“Galtonia Candicans” Has Received The Royal Horticultural Society’s Award Of Garden Merit (Agm) Which Is For Plants Of Outstanding Excellence.

Plant “Galtonia Candicans” 8-10 Cms Deep And About 15-20 Cms Apart They Like Fertile Well-Drained Soil That Is Moist In Spring And Summer But Drier In Winter. It Does Best In Full Sun.
