GENERAL DESCRIPTION
These Are Bare Root Perennial Plants And Not Flimsy Plug Plants.
Pretty Silvery-Pink Flowers Stand Above The Semi-Glossy Green Leaves Of This Medium-Sized In Summer. A Somewhat Lax, Clumping, Mound-Shaped, Nearly Evergreen Perennial That Spreads Vigorously By Long Creeping Rhysomes. It Hails From The Pyrennes Mountains Of France And Spain. The Five-Petaled, Funnel-Shaped, Flowers Have A Central Beak-Shaped Seedpod. The Flower Stems And Leaf Petioles Are Fuzzy. The Light-Medium-Green Leaves Are Usually Five-Lobed And Have Small Jagged Teeth And Pointed Tips.
“Geranium Endressii” Has Received The Royal Horticultural Society’s Award Of Garden Merit (Agm) Which Is For Plants Of Outstanding Excellence.
Grow “Endress’s Cranesbill” In Full To Partial Sun In Any Average Garden Soil That Is Not Too Dry Or Wet. It Will Stay In Flower For Several Weeks. Cut Plants Back After Flowering To Force Vigorous New Growth. It Will Fill In Extremely Quickly And You Should Get Repeat Blooms Here And There Throughout The Season. This Is A Terrific Perennial To Fill Gaps In A Mixed Border, Or To Allow To Naturalise And Become A Groundcover. “Endress’s Cranesbill” Is Attractive To Bees, Butterflies And Birds.
