GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Bright White Flowers Of “Honorine Jobert” Will Brighten Any Late Season Border. The Hybrid Autumn-Flowering Anemone Is Derived From Two Parent Species. Anemone Hupehensis Var Japonica And Anemone Vitifolia, Which Originate From China And Japan. It Is A Vigorous Hardy Clump-Forming Plant That Spreads Over Time.
“Honorine Jobert” Has Received The Royal Horticultural Society’s Award Of Garden Merit (Agm) Which Is For Plants Of Outstanding Excellence.
The Leaves Are Medium Green, Lobed And Maple-Shaped. In Late Summer To Autumn It Bears Tall, Airy Stems Covered With Numerous Large Buttercup-Like Flowers Of White (Sometimes Tinged Pink In The Back) With Golden And Green Centers. The Tall Stems Should Be Cut Back Once The Flowers Are Spent To Keep Plants Looking Neat.
Grow Autumn –Flowering Anemones In Sites With Partial Sum And Average To Moist, Humus-Rich Soil. If Left Undisturbed It Will Spread Vigorously, So It Is Best Divided Every 2-3 Years. Plant This Anemone In Mixed Borders With Ample Space. It Pairs Well With Woodland Asters And Hostas
