GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Gloxinia Is Exquisite When In Bloom With Its Large, Bell-Shaped Flowers. This Evergreen, Frost-Intolerant Perennial Is Native To Southern Brazil And Grows From A Tuber, Ie An Enlarged Underground Stem. They Are Commonly Grown As House Plants.

“Kaiser Friedrich” Grows As A Rosette Of Oblong-Oval Leaves With Velvety Hairs.The Underside Of The Leaves Are Reddish And The Edges Can Be Scalloped. In The Warmth Of Late Spring And Summer, The Center Of The Rosette Becomes Home To Single Or Clustered Bell-Shaped Flowers That Slightly Nod. The Flowers Are Bi-Coloured, Large, Red Trumpet-Like Blooms, With A White Edge

Growing Conditions

Bright, Indirect Light, Gloxinia Do Not Like Direct Sunlight And Should Not Be Exposed To It. Keep Soil Constantly Moist Throughout The Growing And Blooming Season. Water From The Bottom, When The Water Drips From The Bottom Of The Pot Empty The Rest Out Of The Tray. Do Not Spray The Leaves. If You Are Going To Repot.
