GENERAL DESCRIPTION
“Kees Nelis” Bears Solitary, Blood-Red Flowers, Orange-Yellow Edged, Bowl Shaped Flowers On Sturdy Upright Stems Which Has Several Leaves. It Is Late Flowering.
“Kees Nelis” Is Part Of The Triumph Group Of Spring Flowering Bulbs Which Is The Largest Tulip Group And It Was Developed By Crossing Single Early And Darwin Hybrids. They Are Ideal For Flower Beds And Borders And Look Good With Any Of The Coloured Tulips. They Make Lovely Cut Flowers, So You Can Enjoy Them Indoors Too
Tulips Are Generally Easy To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average To Fertile Soil With Good Drainage. It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Spring’s Display. Once Their Leaves Start To Turn Yellow, They Can Be Cut To The Ground.
