GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Already Potted In 9cm Round Pots And In The Early Stages Of Growth, Root And Shoot Development. The Main Picture Is A Stock Photo Only And Shows How The Plants Look When Fully Mature. Amount Of Bulbs Per Pot Varies Depending On The Type/Size Of Bulb, But Rest Assured The Pots Are Full.  Each Pot Makes A Lovely Display And Can Be Either Left In Pots Or Taken Out And Used To Add Colour To Larger Containers, Or Borders.

The Backswept, Bright Yellow Petals/Tepals And Bright Orange, Cylindrical “Snouts” Of This Cyclamineus Hybrid Are A Cheering Sight In The Early Spring Border. The Flowers Are Borne Singly On Compact Stems.

“Jetfire” Is A Dwarf Bicolour That Stays In The 20-30 Cm Range Of Height 25cm Being Average. The Intensely Yellow Perianth Surrounds An Even Darker Yellow Trumpet That Ages To Orange-Red. The Trumpet Is Thinly Ruffled And The Perianth Is Reflexed. It Is Also Pleasantly Scented. In The Garden It Perennializes And Reproduces Its Bulb Rapidly. It Will Need To Be Lifted About Every Third Year To Divide Out The Extra Bulbs.

“Jetfire” Has Received The Royal Horticultural Society’s Award Of Garden Merit (Agm) Which Is For Plants Of Outstanding Excellence.

These Are Some Of The Easiest Bulbs To Grow. They Prefer Full To Part Sun And Require Average Fertile Soil. After Blooming, It Is Good To Let Their Green Tops Photosynthesize To Allow Them To Store Plenty Of Fuel For Next Spring’s Display. Once Their Leaves Start To Turn Yellow, They Can Be Cut To The Ground. Divide Them In Summer If Bloom Or Vigour Dwindles.

Like All Daffodils “Jetfire” Is A Superb And Long Lasting Cut Flower. In The Landscape It Pairs Well With Specie Tulips, Scillas, Muscaris And Early Blooming Perennials And Shrubs. It Is Also Excellent For Winter Forcing.

Plant 10 Cm Down In Clusters 10-15 Cm Apart

(Poetaz) Narcissi Are Cute And Sassy; This Tazetta Hybrid Bears Fragrant Upfacing Clusters Of White Flowers Ornamented With Tiny, Bowl-Shaped, Bright Yellow Cups. They Are Held On Compact Stems.

“Canaliculatus” Are Multi-Flowering In That Each Bulb Produces More Than One Flower. “Canaliculatus” Are Also Very Fragrant.
